Rebates and Government Funding
If your child is eligible, your GP will complete and lodge a GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangements (TCA) plan with Medicare. Your GP will nominate the number of sessions they recommend your child to receive (up to a maximum of 5 per calendar year) and provide a referral to us. Your child must have a GP Management Plan and TCA plan before a rebate can be claimed from Medicare. It cannot be used with any other kind of rebate or government funding. The current rebate is $52.95 per session.
Private Health Insurance
Speech Pathology Services are claimable under certain ancillary tables of private health funds. If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate, depending on your type of cover. This can be claimed in our office at the time of payment for your convenience. Please contact your health fund for more information.
